Lindsay captivated Year 3 to 8 in her huddle, discussing her writing process, how she became an author and the research she undertook for her latest novel, Call of the Titanic. Pennthorpe pupils were keen to share their knowledge about the Titanic with her, as well as their facts about dogs!
Every pupil then got the chance to attend a writing workshop with Lindsay, where she shared her secrets to success at being a full-time author. The children all came up with their own stories about a small fairy trapped in a jar – with some fantastic creative ideas shared. As always, our pupils asked some wonderfully insightful questions to Lindsay.
