Our Year 5 & 6 pupils had an amazing day out this week to see ‘Wicked’ the musical. Wicked tells the incredible, untold story of the witches of Oz and is described as one of the ‘most successful musicals of all time’ by BBC News. The children had a magical day out which started with a train journey from Horsham to London. We then walked through London to Pizza Express for a three course lunch before heading to The Apollo Victoria Theatre to watch the performance. The children were blown away by the costumes, set, singing, special effects and all round brilliance of the performance. We received a number of compliments from members of the public about how well behaved, polite and happy the children were throughout the day. We returned back to Horsham on the train and have not been able to get ‘Defying Gravity’ out of our heads since!

Year 5&6 had a day to remember in London, which included a train to London Victoria, Pizza Express lunch and a matinee performance of Wicked!
A magical experience! It felt like we were grown ups getting the train to London and the musical itself was phenomenal.Bertie, Year 6
I have never taken a Year 5&6 group to London on the train before. The maturity of our children is incredible! They are a pleasure to spend time with!Mr Marler, Assistant Head Academic
